We are doing our best to man drop off lines and improve traffic flow.

The bad smell around the back pond is a sulfur smell coming from the watering of the grass fields.  We use the ponds to water the grass and the water is what causes the smell.

We do have a coding class, and the DACC has a software development program.  Starting a club is a very simple process.  The student needs to get a club form found in the main office, find a teacher that that wants to be the advisor, we have a few that are in technology, and submit to the main office.

This was discussed with the food service manager. They are doing their best. The supply chain delays are affecting our food deliveries.

We would love to spread out or have tests given by grade level for each child.  The problem is we have students that are not on “grade level” in some of their classes.  If your child has too many tests on a day, please have them talk with their teachers.  They will be flexible so that your child can lessen the academic stress.

We have mental health professionals in the building. They are in student services.

If students do not have an exam, they must be signed out by a parent or guardian. They must also be signed out if they would like to leave early.

Students interested in service hours can join Service Club. This is the best way to learn about service opportunities, as well as track your hours.  The club fair was September 1 during lunches.

Olentangy High School opened in 1990 and has had two additions since then.  We are working on a plan to fix the room numbers and have added “street signs” to the building to help with locating classes.

Free and reduced-price meal applications are available for families that believe they may qualify. Reduced-price meals are $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch.

School buses are owned by the Board.

Parking  Parking passes allow students to park on campus.  The seniors may park in any student lot they wish, juniors can park in any student lot except the senior lot and sophomores can only park in the sophomore lot.  There is overflow parking by the baseball and tennis courts. 

There are 309 available spots in the senior lot; 255 are reserved.

The first Tuesday of the month will be a homebase schedule; schedule #2.  We announce special schedules on Schoology and they are on the Bell Schedule page of our building website.   

Students will find the shortest route and should not have any problems getting to class with the 5 minute pass times. 

September 23 is underclassman picture day.  October 11 will be for seniors only.

We try to enforce dress code, help at home is welcomed. 

We will make announcements about driving on campus, parking and that driving to campus is a privilege.
