THANK YOU Mr. Saupe for serving as our Concessions Lead for two years!! Mr. Saupe is graduating and is leaving shoes to fill.......won't that be you?! Please contact me if you are interested in leaning more about the position.
Please commit to working at least one concession event. This is our LARGEST source of funding into the music boosters general fund. Working a concession event is fun and easy! You get into the game free as well as getting a free hotdog, pop, and popcorn! Please check out the boosters portion of this website for more information about boosters in general as well as specifics about jobs at the concession stand.

Congratulations to the students who performed at Chamber Music Night on 5/1. The evening was a success!
Thank you to the students who performed at Worthington Christian on 5/4. The residents were very appreciative.
Officer applications have been accepted. Voting will take place during the week after our spring concert. We have EXCELLENT candidates.
Upcoming dates:
5/11 Music Boosters at Olentangy High School, 7:30
5/13 SMS Festival of the Arts concert - please support our incoming freshman as they play their final concert at SMS
5/14 Glen Oak concert - student help is always needed! Tuning begins at 5:50, concert at 6:30
5/17 Spring Concert 4:00 - Band performs at 2:00, come show them your support
5/26 Orchestra Awards Dinner 6:00, EVERY student is recognized for their participation in orchestra - please come to our dinner!
It is the philosophy of the course, in accordance with the district philosophy of maximum learning for every student, that each child has the opportunity to explore instrumental music in a supportive, caring, and encouraging environment. Participants are held to high standards and high levels of expectation in performance achievement. Orchestra students at the high school level will be exposed to techniques and music that will enable them to grow in their music making abilities as string players and will enable growth in sensitivity, group dynamics, and leadership skills as young adults.
